9. James 2:17 “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” https://www.bible.com/bible/1/JAS.2.KJV It is not enough just to sit in church every week, and say, “I believe.” Even the devil believes. Sitting in church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than sitting in a garage makes you a corvette. We don’t do “works” in order to be saved but because we are. If you never did anything to show your spouse that you loved them, would they begin to wonder if you did? 

10. Colossians 2:6 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” https://www.bible.com/bible/1/COL.2.KJV If we don’t live like Jesus here, what makes us think that we will walk with him in heaven?
